The European sizes are based on the child’s height measured in centimeters. In the ebooks, the sizes are indicated in both ways, centimeters, and inches of course. Also, the fabric requirement is listed in centimeters and yards. The European size of 62 corresponds to the UK or US size of 0 - 3 months.

It's all in the PDF - instructions and pattern, including the seam allowance. Just download it and print everything at home! Make sure to print at „Actual Size“. Do not scale! Check the test square to make sure that the pattern is printing at the correct size. The edges and markings on each page help you assemble the pattern in the right way. Match up 1 with 1, 2 with 2, etc.

If you don't want to do without ribbons on the little hoodie, you can simply sew them to the edge of the eyelet patch. This way, the ribbons can't be tied too tightly and won't pose a danger.

Check out the Hoody for Kids! The Lybstes Hoody is a very comfy piece for your child‘s wardrobe. The hood or collar keeps them warm and the optional pocket offers room for all their little treasures. The hoodie doesn‘t fit very loosely, please size up if your child/baby is a bit chubby. This pattern is designed for rather a stretchy sweatshirt fleece and french terry.
